GDPR & Your Data Rights

Last Updated: 7/22/2026

This page explains how Precision Small Engine handles the personal data of visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Who is responsible for your data (Data Controller)

The data controller for this website is Precision Small Engine LLC, based in Fremont, Indiana, United States.

For any privacy request, contact us at [email protected].

What data we collect and why

  • Contact / booking form details (name, email, phone, message, and the service you ask about) — so we can respond to your enquiry and schedule repairs.
  • Analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser, referring source) via Google Analytics 4 — collected only with your consent to help us understand what visitors are looking for and improve the site.

Legal bases we rely on

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for analytics and any non-essential cookies. You give this via our cookie banner and can withdraw it at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
  • Legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)) — to reply to enquiries you send us and arrange the repair service you request.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2. Until you accept, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied: no analytics cookies or identifiers are stored. If you accept, Google sets cookies to measure site usage. You can reject or later withdraw consent at any time — see our Cookie Policy.

International data transfers

Our website and analytics provider (Google) are based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside the EEA/UK. Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Erasure— ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format.
  • Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
  • Complain — lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month.

Data retention

We keep enquiry and booking details only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations. Google Analytics data is retained according to our GA4 settings and Google’s policies.
